Welcome to the website of the ZEBRA association in our anniversary year of 2009.

The year 2009 is dedicated to our 22nd anniversary. We'd like to give you a review of our activities in 2009.

The center piece was the art project

Ten visual artists were each creating a work of art for ZEBRA in 2009.
The art is based on the history of people who have been in connection with ZEBRA within the past 22 years.
The happening was accompanied and curated by the <rotor> association, Martin Behr (G.R.A.M.) and Johanna Hierzegger (TiB).

The Exhibition

These works of art were presented within an exhibition at <rotor> (Volksgartenstraße 6a, 8020 Graz)) on November, 27.

The Soirée

As a conclusion, but also a climax, of the anniversary celebrations, there was a Soirée in Graz on November, 27.

Exhibition Catalogue and Documentation

Accompanying the exhibition, a catalogue will be produced which will be presented at the Soirée. The artistic process will also be accompanied and documented by the production firm Art-Media in Graz.

Events

In May/June 2009, ZEBRA hosted be a series of seminars in connection with the anniversary year. International speakers were invited to three all-day events. (See more on Events.) Further smaller symposia are planned for early fall.
